Analysis and interpretation of the Conventazzo was derived from the orthophotos and line drawings, mostly however, through careful observation and description of the object onsite. Similar to an archaeological excavation the stratigraphy of the building has been described, which involves the succession of the former construction activity, and thus led to the construction stages. The Conventazzo building belongs to the type of the central building. Outside it has the shape of an octagon, inside - unbalanced to the exterior - the shape of a rotunda with niches. Several major building phases can be distinguished.
