A number of publications, presentations, lectures and events are planned throughout the project. Some of these have already been completed, others are still to come!

Upcomming Events

Together with the other initiators of the Global p-XRF Network, in 2025, the project will be involved in:

  • the workshop "How to Calibrate p-XRF Data for Archaeological Research: A Workshop Hosted by the Global p-XRF Network" at the World Archaeological Congress (WAC) in Darwin, Australia, from June 22nd to 28th, 2025
  • the session "Recent Developments in HH-pXRF Studies and the Global Archaeological HH-pXRF Users Network" at the European Association of Archaeologists (EAA) 2025 in Belgrade, Serbia, from September 3rd to 6th, 2025

Past Events

The project was presented at EAA 2024 at Rome and at the HEAS Gräzlfest held on 11th of October 2024 at the Naturhistorisches Museum Wien.

The pXRF Ceramic Users Network (CUN), lead by the CEAlex (French Center for Alexandrian Studies in Egypt) and supported by CNRS held its meeting and workshop supported by the ESP-476 project on 25th and 26th of September 2024 at the Vienna Institute for Archaeological Science.

As part of the work of the ESP-476 project, the Conference Methodological Innovations in P-XRF-Studies took place on the 24th of September 2024 at the Vienna Institute for Archaeological Science with an Ice-breaker event on the 23rd at Naturhistorisches Museum Wien. During the Conference, the Global p-XRF Network was initiated.
